You're probably in that county right there.

It’s that time of year again! You’re putting the tank tops and short sleeves back in the closet and pulling out the flannels, jeans, and thick boots, ready for the coming cold weather. “Winter is Approaching,” as the kids say.

But now that it’s getting colder, your precipitation will likely be delivered from above in a bit of a more...frozen state. Basically, it’s snow time.

Now, snow can be pretty fun--just ask any child, or try to remember back when you were a wee lad or lass and managed to get out of class so you could play outside in the powder--however, it can also be extremely dangerous. Snow is a solid (flashback to freshman chemistry for that big-brained factoid!), and can collect in areas on your roof and gutters, and cause them to collapse from the weight. It can also coat the roads, and cause car accidents (although sleet and freezing rain are far more dangerous to motorists).
